JPHL Refund Policy
As a registration-based league, the JPHL maintains a strict no-refund policy. This applies to, but is not limited to:
- Non-Refundable Deposit payments
- Registration fees
- League fees
- Any other payments made to the JPHL, including those made under a payment plan
Our fees cover the fixed costs of running the program, which are determined by roster sizes. When a player registers, they secure a roster spot that could have been offered to another participant. If a player withdraws, these spots are rarely filled, and the associated fees remain non-recoverable.
Obligation to Fulfill Payment Plans
For participants who choose a payment plan, all scheduled payments remain due, even if the player leaves the JPHL before completing the full payment schedule. Enrolling in a payment plan is a financial commitment to pay the full registration and league fees over time. A player’s departure from the JPHL does not void or reduce any outstanding balance owed.
Acknowledgment of Services Rendered (for Season Registrations)
By completing this registration, the registrant acknowledges and agrees that, upon enrollment in the JPHL, services have been rendered that make the deposit and any payments non-refundable. These services include, but are not limited to:
- The securing of a registration and roster spot on a JPHL team
- The ordering of long-lead items such as custom/sized apparel (jerseys, name bars, etc.)
- The purchase of hard gear such as protective equipment (helmets, gloves, etc.)
- The team’s commitment to the athlete’s roster spot, agreeing not to recruit against it thereafter
The registrant further agrees that all payments, whether made upfront or as part of a payment plan, are non-refundable. By completing registration, the family waives all credit card arbitration rights, and any disputes filed with the registrant’s credit card company regarding these payments may result in legal action, including the recovery of legal costs and/or damages incurred by the JPHL.
Additional Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will not be granted for any of the following reasons:
- Injury or medical reasons
- Relocation
- Personal or family circumstances
- Change in player’s commitment to the team
- Player’s inability to attend practices, games, or events
- Suspension or removal from the league
- Financial hardship or inability to pay fees
- Change in work, school, or personal schedules
- Failure to meet team expectations or league requirements
- Any other change in circumstances, including but not limited to travel conflicts, lifestyle changes, or loss of interest
Please ensure you understand this policy before making any financial commitments.
