Purpose:

Outline registration refunds for WMHA
|
REGISTRATION REFUNDS
Parents or players wishing to have all or a portion of their registration fees refunded must email their reason for requesting a refund to the WMHA President, by August 15.
- A $50 administration fee will apply to registrations withdrawn prior to the player stepping onto the ice for either tryouts or conditioning camps.
- No refunds will be granted to players who have been suspended or expelled for disciplinary reasons.
- Refunds will be issued within 30 days of approval.
U5/U7/U9 Divisions
The administration fee will apply prior to any refund being calculated.
Refund of registration fees will be prorated from Oct to Dec 15th with the season defined as 6 months (October to March).
No refunds will be granted after Dec 15th.
U11/U13/U15/U18 Divisions including Female Divisions:
The administration fee will apply prior to any refund being calculated.
Refund of registration fees will be prorated from Sept to Dec 15th with the season defined as 7 months (September to March).
No refunds will be granted after Dec 15th.
REFUNDS DUE TO INJURY AFTER Dec 15th
Players injured, after Dec 15th, may be eligible for partial registration refund as outlined above. Injury duration must be a minimum of 8 weeks and doctor’s note including proof of injury and duration must be provided.
Injury refund requests must be submitted via email to the WMHA President.
Requests will be approved by the WMHA Executive.
FULL REFUND AND A RELEASE FROM WMHA
Players requesting a full refund will have 2 weeks to return to the association after requesting a release from WMHA.
