WFRA Refund Policy (May 2024)
House League Players
For approval for a partial refund after January 1*, the player:
- is injured and has a doctor’s note to show that she/he cannot play for the remainder of the season.
*If the reason is not listed above, the association will decide refund on a case by case basis and reserves the right to deny the request.
Steps to follow for a refund:
- An email describing the reason for the request must be sent to registar@westferrisringette.ca by the player or in the case of a minor, by the parents who enrolled them, as soon as the player is no longer participating.
- The WFRA will review the request.
- Refunded fees will be returned to the player/guardian within a month of receiving the request.
Refund Rates:
- Before First Ice Time - 100%
- First ice to Oct 31st - 70% less RO (If New player, 100% less RO fees if requested within first 4 ice times)
- November 1st to December 31st - 50% less RO fees
- After January 1st - No Refund

*if a NEW PLAYER no longer wishes to continue playing after the first four ice times following their registration, 100% of the fee (less RO fees) will be refunded. If a new player withdraws at this time, he/she can register as a new player the following year.
Rep League Players
Rep team player refunds will be prorated based on ice-times played and tournaments played. The RO and administration fees will only apply once (either to House League or Rep League) if a player must withdraw from both.
