WLYSA Refund Policy - Updated December 2023

Williams Lake Youth Soccer Association (WLYSA) recognizes that children withdraw from youth sports for a variety of reasons after initial registration. The purpose of this policy is to ensure fairness in refunding players and parents. 

 

Regulations

The following is the Williams Lake Youth Soccer Association refund policy for all registrations:

• Full Refunds will be issued when WLYSA has been given written (emailed) notice that the player is withdrawing before the scheduled start of the season. 

 

• Half Refund minus the BC Soccer Player Fees will be issued when WLYSA is notified after the scheduled start of the season and the player has not yet participated in the program. 

 

• Half Refund minus the BC Soccer Player Fees will be issued to players that withdraw due to injury after participating within the first month of the season. 

 

• No Refund will be issued to players withdrawing from the season due to circumstances other than injury after participating in the program for any length of time.

 

• No Refund will be considered after the first month from the scheduled start date of the season. 

 

• Full Refunds will be issued to all registered participants if the age group, session, or season is canceled by WLYSA, and no reasonable alternative is agreed upon.
