Canoe Kids Camp
We welcome all paddlers from ages 8-14 (2011-2016), regardless skill level or experience. Beginners receive coaching and supervision as we introduce them to single, double, and four-person racing canoes and kayaks, as well as big boat C15s and Dragon boats. Paddlers have the opportunity to participate in local regattas tailored to their age and skill level all while making new friends, connecting with nature, and learning a new sport.
Experienced paddlers can improve their skills and compete locally, regionally, and even nationally, but the focus for everyone is always on fun.
We pride ourselves on maintaining a 5:1 camper-to-staff ratio, ensuring that each child receives personalised attention and guidance.
SNCC will provide the boat, the paddle, and the personal flotation device/life jacket. Our instructors and volunteers will also provide fun and safe training!
Most camps run Monday to Friday, with exceptions for holidays:
- Early Drop-Off : 8:00 am-9:00 am
- Drop-off : 9:00 am-9:15 am
- Program : 9:15 am-3:45 pm
- Pick-up : 3:45 pm-4:00 pm
- Late Pick-up : 4:00 pm-5:00 pm
Extra charge for early drop-off/late pick-up ($50/week or $40/week for short weeks). Take 10% off for your second child, and 15% off for a third child.

Do you have other plans, do you think that your kids will not be able to attend full day camps and are you sad about this?
Then we have an offer for you. your kids can attend our camp either before or after noon, that is, at the most convenient times for you, and the half-day camp fee is offered to you at a 30% discount.

Youth Racing
Youth Racing Camp group is ages 10-16, and is our pre-competition and future champions of the club. Just like summer camp, all paddlers are welcome regardless of age, skill level or experience. No experience required. Paddlers can join for 3 weeks, 5 weeks or 7 weeks. Camp days run from 9:00am - 4:00pm and there is no extra fee for early drop off or late pickup.
