2025 Wascana Racing Canoe Club Summer Camp Programs
The Wascana Racing Canoe Club is offering several learn to paddle programs for youth seven to fourteen years of age. Each summer camp program and financial considerations are described below.
All programs introduce participants to the sport of paddling in a fun and involved way! Paddlers will learn all the basic skills to paddle their boats and be safe around water! Experience single, double and four person racing canoes and kayaks; the 15 person Canadian War Canoe; the 10- or 20-person dragon boat; and even playboats!
Paddlers who have paddled in a summer camp in an earlier year may wish to continue in this program.
Spring Learn to Paddle Program - This program is targeted to youth 10 to 14 years of age. Eight sessions are offered from June 3 to June 26, Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 6:00 - 7:30 PM. Program cost is $175.00.
Summer Weeklong, One-half Day Camps - Morning camps are targeted to youth 7 to 9 years of age. Exceptions may be made for sibling groups or other special circumstances.
Sessions are for one week each. Seven separate, one-week camps are offered during the months of July and August. Camps are each 5 days, except for two camps that fall during a week with a Statutory holiday; these camps being 4 days. Drop of is at 8:30 AM and pick-up at noon. The cost is $160 for 5 day and $130 for 4 days camps. To register for the desired week, select the package with your preferred dates.

Camps are each 5 days, except for two camps that fall during a week with a Statutory holiday; these camps being 4 days. Drop of is at 8:30 AM and pick-up at 4:30 PM. The cost is $275 for 5 day and $225 for 4 days camps. To register for the desired week, select the package with your preferred dates.
Summer Three Week, Day Camps. Two Three Week camps are offered. The camps are full day camps offered from June 30 to July 25 and from July 28 to August 22. Drop off is at 8:30 AM and pick up at 4:30PM. Full day camps are targeted to youth 10 to 14 years of age. Exceptions may be made for sibling groups or other special circumstances.
Campers choose which three of the four weeks they wish to attend. This allows for away time, such as family holidays. Youth who are remaining in the city for the entire 4 weeks may attend all four weeks. The cost of each of the three-week camps is $600.00.
Full Summer Day Camp. The camp is a full day camp, offered as an 8-week camp from June 30 to August 22. Full day camps are targeted to youth 10 to 14 years of age. Drop off is at 8:30 AM and pick up at 4:30PM. Exceptions may be made for sibling groups or other special circumstances.
The costs of this 8-week camp is $1,200.00
Other Financial Considerations. Paddlers completing the one week, day camps will have their fees paid credited to the three week or full day summer camps, should they later choose to join.
Waivers and Conduct. To successfully register all applicants must check all three consents to waiver boxes and sign their names in the sign-in box. If you fail to do so the system will not allow you to register.

The fee for the 8 sessions is $150.00
