Get started by joining School Field trips, Recreational Programs, or Summer Camps to get comfortable on the water. Once you're confident, elevate your skills with our comprehensive competitive programs designed to take your paddling proficiency to new heights.
Please use this page to register for the following programs
Learn to Train: Special Program Geared Towards Youth Aged 11-13. Our program is designed to help young athletes build on the skills introduced in the beginner program. Participants will have the opportunity to paddle in various boats and be encouraged to participate in local and provincial *regattas to further enhance their abilities.
Ages: U12, U13, U14
Experience: Beginner Experience
Train to Train: Youth Program Geared Towards Enhancing Paddling Skills and Techniques. Designed for individuals aged 14 to 17, this program focuses on refining paddling skills and improving race performance. A greater emphasis is on learning to race, while training centers on enhancing sport-specific endurance, and speed. Athletes at this level are encouraged to participate in four to seven regattas each year.
Ages: U15, U16, U17, U18
Experience: Intermediate Experience
Coaches decide on which program is appropriate for each athlete - if you are unsure where you fit, please speak to the coach before registrations
Learn To Train - Development year "Year 1" and Year 2.
Please select this category if you are joining KCKC for the Spring Season. If you are a returning member, membership fees and the season package must be purchased separately. Membership fees for new members are included in this package.
