CKBC Programs
CKBC Individual Membership Options
In an effort to be a more inclusive membership to engage with the growing paddling community, CKBC is excited to announce additional membership types to join and be part of our growing recreational pursuit and sport.
- Educational Membership - a member who is accepted into the membership which is an established educational institution within the Province of BC. Benefits to an educational membership include access to CKBC’s programming including but not limited to (Coaching Clinics, School based Programs, Indigenous Programs, Specialty Clinics and much more).
- Commercial Membership - a member who is accepted into the membership who is a commercial, private, or business community. The benefits to a commercial membership are for those who wish to access services, programs, and support from CKBC including but not limited to (Coaching Clinics, School based Programs, Indigenous Programs, Specialty Clinics and much more).
- Individual Membership - a member who is accepted into the membership by joining a specific discipline, or group. The discipline or group is established by the Board of Directors each year.

The Marathon Individual Membership lends individual paddlers who do not belong to a CKBC Club the benefits of:
- April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025
- Canoe Kayak BC Insurance Coverage
- Eligibility to compete in races held in Canada
- Access to Coaching Modules available through Canoe Kayak BC
- Future accessibility to Marathon Paddle Clinics hosted by Canoe Kayak BC or CKBC associated clubs

The Surfski Individual Membership lends individual paddlers who do not belong to a CKBC Club the benefits of:

- Access to Coaching Modules available through Canoe Kayak BC
- Future accessibility to Surfski Clinics hosted by Canoe Kayak BC or CKBC associated clubs
